6. I think there is direct link...
Obama is rumored to have actually eaten eggs. There's the straight line to confirm the connection.

7. The FDA is a debacle. Obama didn't make it that way but that is how it is
The regulatory structure is shot and/or captured all across the board and guess who's job it is to get all these agencies straightened up and flying right?

Congress has a role too but the regulatory agencies are under the executive branch and its not like Obama is making a case that this stuff has to be squared away.

It sucks but we all knew the bureaucracy was a multi-decade mess through both parties stripping down "the era of Big Government", including the President and yet he posted industry yes men to every slot and has exercised zero vigor on the boring operational parts of government that never blip on a poll until a disaster or some related wedge issue comes to center stage.

Of course the TeaPubliKlans haven't helped even when the right kind of people were snuck in because their confirmations were blocked and not allowed a vote and being all bipartisan Obama refused to hang them for it and was reluctant to use recess appointments to break stalemates.

He's spread thin, faces madcap obstruction, and certainly didn't create the mess but it is certainly his baby.
