Apparently it's now disrespectful to the memory of 9/11 to build a mosque in ... Kentucky.
......the new mosque site has become the subject of a new round of anti-Muslim attacks. A website called The Vigilante ("standing firm in a storm of socialist sedition") attacked the project on August 5, calling on Florentines to "to understand what they are in for" with the the new mosque:

"Once Islam has established itself sufficiently in any nation, it seeks to overthrow any existing regime or constitution or law, and replace it with Islamic theocracy," the site warns. "All Islamic mosques have Islamic leaders (rulers) who can call Muslims for fighting, and as such are satellite headquarters for spreading Literal Islam's political doctrine of world domination and totalitarianism--no matter how many 'moderate Muslims' they serve."

This week, the anti-Muslim fear campaign stepped up a notch with an anonymous flier that's being distributed, warning residents that the Muslims are coming to get them.

"Everyone needs to contact Florence City Council to have this stopped," the flier reads in part, according to the Louisville Courier-Journal. "Americans need to stop the takeover of our country."

1. Hmm, replace "Islam" with "Jew" and "Mosque" with "Synogogue" and this all sounds eerily familiar
Doesn't it?

2. I was thinking the same. And they say Obama is comparable
to Hitler and Germany. What we said about republicans is correct and has been all along. They want to drive a wedge between the peoples of this country and pick a race to demonize. They started the crap with blacks when the messed their pants when Obama was elected. They tried to get them worked up over Spanish illegal immigrants but now they really found a scape goat. And the stupid aholes in America who are just repeating the mistakes make in Germany are following the corporate masters over a cliff.

3. And that is why...

I don't believe the people who say, "Oh, I don't have problems with a mosque, it's just 'too close' to ground zero."

4. There are mosques all over the nation that are being stepped on
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08/08/us/08mosque.html?_r=2

It puts the lie to the BS that nobody is challenging the rights of Muslims to build Mosques.

I'm tempted to volunteer my services to any local mosque that feels threatened by un-American hate mongers.

You roll over for bullies they keep taking your lunch money.

You let one set of bigots slide and a thousands more spring up parroting whatever worked.

There is not always a middle ground and sometimes when there is out isn't the place to be.

Hatred and avarice have no "sweet spot".

11. A Candidate For Boone County Commissioner Hosts Her Site On The Same Webserver

Interestingly, while the hate site the-vigilante.com is registered anonymously, a reverse-ip search on that server comes up with this other site hosted on the same server:

Search Results for 74.50.27.155
31 Results for 74.50.27.155 (Kuth.com)

Website

29. The-vigilante.com
30. Votejolley.com

Surprise, surprise, she's a Republican.
