DC EXCLUSIVE: Palin supports Angle and will ‘actively help’ her in Nevada
By Alex Pappas - The Daily Caller | Published: 4:53 PM 08/17/2010 | Updated: 8:17 AM 08/18/2010

The Daily Caller has learned that Sharron Angle has former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s endorsement.

Palin’s brother, Chuck Heath, told The Daily Caller that his sister plans to “actively help” Angle and “do whatever she can” to help take out Democratic Sen. Harry Reid, the Senate’s majority leader, in Nevada this fall.

“She’s got GUTS and is putting up with more crap than she deserves because the libs don’t know what to do with her and the support she has,” Palin said in a email provided to TheDC by Heath.

While Palin has not yet formally endorsed Angle in public before now, she said her support was offered to the Angle campaign when she recently made a donation to her. It is not clear if Palin was referring to a personal donation she made to Angle or the money her SarahPAC has contributed to Angle’s campaign. Palin has also supported Angle on Twitter, writing that Angle was “right” about wanting to allow workers to invest Social Security in private accounts.

The former governor of Alaska has made a point to publicly endorse conservative, Republican women—or “Mama Grizzlies”—this election cycle. Palin often makes these endorsements over Twitter and Facebook, but an endorsement announcement for Angle has not yet been made.

During the Republican primary in Nevada, Palin’s brother and father publicly supported Angle’s rival Danny Tarkanian in the race. Heath said Tuesday that he’s “happy to endorse” Angle now.

Angle’s campaign did not immediately return a request for comment.

19. OMG!
What would happen to the space-time continuum if Sharrron and $arah and Old Crazy-Eyes were all to take the stage at once? I wasn't worried about that hadron super-collider destroying the Universe, but this could be dangerous!

:scared:

9. And Harry Reid breathes a sigh of relief.....
Appropriated Press, Reno

"I thought they were going to bring in someone rational," Reid said at his home in Nevada.
"This is the break I had been hoping for. We had been in negotiations with Palin's camp for
several weeks now, but just couldn't come with the money they were asking. They decided
to come down in price, and so now Palin will indeed be coming to Nevada to appear with
Sharron Angle with sufficient frequency to ensure my re-election. I was worried, because
the Kentucky Democratic Party had been making overtures to Palin to spend a lot of time
campaigning for Rand Paul in Kentucky, thereby taking away from time she might have spent
here in Nevada."

(OK, so I made that up, but maybe it's not as far-fetched as it would first appear)

13. More and more I'm beginning to believe that failin quitter is a "Cooler".
Anyone who has seen that movies knows what I'm talking about.

A "cooler" basically brings bad luck to a gambling table. Casinos use them to keep high rollers from breaking the house. Sort of like a bad luck charm.

Two Palin-backed candidates lose
By Shane D'Aprile - 08/18/10 08:00 AM ET

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) is on a bit of a losing streak.

One of the candidates Palin backed in Tuesday's primaries lost big — Washington Senate candidate Clint Didier (R). Another — Wyoming gubernatorial hopeful Rita Meyer (R) — conceded defeat early Wednesday morning to rival Matthew Mead, who won by some 700 votes.

Given former Rep. Nathan Deal's defeat of Karen Handel in Georgia's Republican runoff for governor, Rep. Todd Tiahrt's loss in the GOP Senate primary in Kansas and Tennessee congressional candidate CeCe Heil's (R) loss, Palin is 0 for 5 so far in August.
