I went to this carnival last night, the "GAME" has been removed. I wanted to drop 50 bucks on it, I think its inventive and funny...... any way whats the harm except for those jerks that pull the race card.

Although they are the kinds of displays that a number of DUers routinely condemn. The above was a carnival game at a church. Yeah there was the Bush punching bag to throw shoes at, but I still don't think that's quite the same as a shooting game.

What I find interesting is that I was at many antiwar protests while Bush was in office and I never once saw any signs like this. I was also at Camp Casey many times and saw no death threats.

Not saying your pictures are lies, but it seems like if the death threats were as common as the ones against Obama, I would have seen at least one. :shrug:

The Secret Service also has reported a drastic increase in death threats against this president.

Just cause there were a few against Bush is no justification for any against Obama.

I, too, recall reading a lot of news stories about the increased number of presidential death threats.

A brief Google search turns up a lot of stories reporting the increase, typically 400%, but most refer to the same source - In the President's Secret Service, by Ronald Kessler.

The search also returned the report to the House by Director Sullivan, where he said ,"... there has been no increase of death threats to President Obama when compared to death threats against Presidents George W. Bush and William J. Clinton even though some media sources have reported otherwise".

Does your research, or memory, turn up different results or sources?

I did search via Google. I'd already read the top 4 hits in your search and they all refer to the same source - In the President's Secret Service, by Ronald Kessler.

If that's all you've read about it, that's fine - I was just wondering if you'd seen something I hadn't.
