The South Central Community Foundation based out of Pratt has
established the Greensburg Future Fund to assist in the long-term
rebuilding of the Greensburg community. 100% of any contributions will
go to rebuilding in Greensburg and you can designate on your check if
there is a particular area where you would like your contribution to be
applied, such as "heath issues", "schools", "reconstruction", etc.

I've been wanting to do something, contribute any small amount, to help these folks that happen to be practically neighbors (just across the border and into KS a little ways). And this is exactly what I needed in order to do it.

I don't have much to give, but I lost my home to fire in 1993, and I know what it's like to wonder where you're going to LIVE after one sudden moment of disaster. I never forgot how many people -- some of them complete strangers -- pitched in to help us get through the transition and "start over."

We all know that a lot of contributions, no matter how tiny each one might be, will add up and do these tornado victims a lot of good -- in more ways than one. Let's do it, DUers! As many of us as can ... it WILL make a difference!
