Actually, I'm still stinging over how we lost a great candidate because this silly thing was blown wayyyy out of proportion; even some of the progressive talk hosts jumped on the bandwagon, playing the clip over and over again.
on 20/20 MANY weeks later about the mike and the noise and how distorted the whole scene was (and how unfair the preception of Dr. Dean)-of course it was too little, too late-and not really couched as an apology as it should have been.
Both said they didn't even hear the "scream", until it was played over and over by the MSM. Said the noise was deafening. They still become furious when talking about it.
10. I'm as sure of this as I am that this coffee I'm drinking is hot, karl had something to do
with this being used out of context and I would bet money on it except I don't gamble. The bushies were scared of Howard Dean and you could hear it in their voices anytime his name was mentioned. I was a Dean supporter and always will be no matter what he does or where he goes, I agree with most if not all I have heard or read him say. thanks to the good Dr we have a majority in both the House and the Senate.
is more like it I saw the scream on C-Span when it happened. You could tell Dean was having to yell to be heard.Even with a P.A. system he was struggling to be heard over the cheering crowd. Everyone here owes Dr Dean a dept for reminding us that WE HAVE THE POWER!!
