We need a word for it and this is it.

Kucinich was mediacide victim when he got asked maybe 2 questions in the debates and one was about UFOs.

Dean was a mediacide victim with the electronic amplification and ridicule of the "yrrrarggghhh". (I hope he makes it his battle cry the next go round)

Kerry was mediacide victim with Swiftboats

Fox News is a serial mediacidal maniac and but there are others. (Chris Mathews was seen slinking away from the Kerry mediacide.)

ETA: Mediacide is what needs to happen to the media, like homicide, parricide, insecticide, fungicide and so forth.

4. On Kucinich's Assasamediation. Chicago, 2008 the AFL-CIO sponsored Presidential debate,
Future http://www.youdecidepolitics.com/video/the-afl-cio-msnbc-democratic-debate-from-chicago/">President Barack Obama's homefield. (Warning: watching this video might bring back painful memories and uncomfortable statements from those that "lead" us today)

Dennis Kucinich cleaned his, and all the other candidates, collective clocks. He owned the debate and the crowd. While most of the others played their parts with the usual evasions and platitudes he spoke to the audience and they loved him for it. Watch it for yourself.

The assassination: The next day there was little in the media on the actual debate, but a four-wall campaign of "opinion pieces" against him and his ideas dominated the news and ABC went so far as to photoshop him out of their front page picture on their website.

In the following debate mediated by George Stephanopolis, he was not even given an opportunity to answer a question until 35 minutes in, well after the largest numbers of viewers had turned it off.

There is much more, but I think these examples are sufficient to illustrate a concerted effort on the part of the media (or the corporations that own it) to silence and twist his candidacy.

George Carlin was always right.
