Rangel investigated and BushCo not?
Where is our Justice Department? This guy did more good than harm by miles. Why is nobody from the Bush cabal even being investigated, but Charlie is getting his entire life's work napalmed? This Korean War vet has been in office doing the people's work since 1971. Now he's looking like a sacrificial goat to me.

Meanwhile, George W Bush, AWOL deserter and war criminal is probably boning Condoleezza Rice in the back of his bichin Camaro while on a coke fueled binge. Yeehaw!

On the lighter side, Dylan Ratigan Show on MSNBC, fictitiously quoting Rangel;
"If YOU knew what we were doing with our tax money, you wouldn't pay taxes either."
LOL

1. But there are important distinctions between the cases:
1) Rangel is a Democrat, while the Bushistas are Repukes.
2) Rangel is being investigated by Congress itself -- the in-crowd shooting at one of their own rather than protecting him, whereas the Bushistas would have to be investigated by the Justice Department in a Democratic administration -- the in-crowd shooting at members of the now-out-crowd.

Hmm, I GUESS those distinctions are important. ;-)

2. Yep, this is our chance
Rpublicans will use their TV machine to sink the Dem majority- and our base is justifiably disheartened.

3. I bet we'll finally find out what happened to all those billions in cash that went missing in Iraq!
Rangel will talk, oh yes, he'll spill it all. We have our ways - never mind what they are.

I'm trying to understand why. I'm no lawyer but I mean if Ken Starr sniffed through Clinton's underwear drawer... WTF are we waiting for? A loss in 2012?
