Once again, if the GOP were serious about the so-called illegal immigration "crisis"..
They would go after the employers who hire undocumented workers...

But since they are supply-siders, they believe in their hearts that increasing the supply of workers, legal or illegal, will drive the cost of labor downward so that capital, one of the other parts of the capitalism mix, material being the other, will become more important in that triad and so increase the value of investments.

That's how they roll. distraction, feints and pocket the money...

Why, because money (capital), as the emcee and Sally in Cabaret liked to sing, makes the world go round....

1. Anyone unwilling to go after employers
Who hire illegal workers is not serious about immigration reform. Walls and guards on borders are useless as long as there are unscrupulous bosses ready willing and able to exploit an illegal workforce.

2. Indeed.
And in fact, one of the parts of Arizona immigration reform that was left standing was the part that goes after employers who do hire undocumented workers.
