Obama strategy gives us deadliest month in Afghanistan, 66 US troops dead.
6 within the last 24 hours. And the Administration parrots "stay the course!" by announcing "We must see this strategy through!"

Meanwhile, the troop suicide rate is the highest since Vietnam.

4. Oh, the irony. Wikileaks "may" endanger lives says the Pentagon and White House.
While they report real deaths in their lost war.

10. Oh, Obama, end this stupid war!
We're only prolonging the pain and suffering over there.

It's truly a lost cause. The Taliban are only going to come back stronger than before thanks to our meddling.

14. Time for perspective
If the U.S. continues to lose 70 soldiers per month, it would take 73 years to equal the fatalities of Vietnam, and over 500 years to match the death toll in the 1941-1945 war.

Give Obama a break on this.

23. Hey, c'mon now. I'll give Obama a break on this one.
As soon as he sends his own two kids to the front line, that is.

And he will have plenty of time to do so since it will take "73 years to equal the fatalities of Vietnam." Apparently, that's the number of dead soldiers we need to have to meet the requirements of troop withdrawal. Yeah, the problem with these damn wars we're waging is there just aren't enough fatailities because we aren't losing as many soldiers as we did during 'Nam. Obviously, Obama needs to step it up and get more of our soldiers killed quicker. Once we hit that "magic number" we can get out of there and not before. There are standards to adhere to, ya know.

Well, at least there are as long as you don't give a rat's ass about the kids out there actually fighting in these wars.

And as always, the number of civilians killed don't count. Never have, never will. After all, they're just "collateral damage."

break and get their kids home NOW damn it!

This fucking war bullshit is unwinnable!

On my local news in the spring they showed 3 soldiers standing guard over a fucking poppy field..the soldiers were being interviewed and they said ..n very clear english..that they were guarding the fucking poppy field and that they were not allowed to engage the Afghani's they simply had to sit and watch them farm the poppies!

Oh and my local news is in the city that is Headquarters for Centcom! Tampa

The soldiers that were being interviewed for the feature story..looked absolutely disgusted!

This is Obama's war now..and he will be held accountable for it! 100%

as he should and must be!

19. Volunteer army
Very simple maxim - if you don't want to take the chance of losing your life in Afghanistan or Iraq, there's an easy solution:

Don't join the army!

Same goes with the parents - convice your son not to enlist.

This isn't Vietnam...no one is getting drafted. Those men know what they're getting into when they sign that paper.

Don't get me wrong though, I would rather Obama ahere to the foreign policies of Patrick Buchanan and Ron Paul, don't get involved in foreign wars unless attacked first. Unfortuntely, that type of thinking to radical for our gung-ho political establishment. Given that, Obama is playing the hand he's dealt, and wants to position himself strongly for 2012.

21. A lot of kids join the military because they want to defend the country.
It's our leadership's job to make sure their sense of duty is used for righteous purposes not squandered on imperialistic adventures.

Maybe we should bring back the draft. Might make more voters think twice before voting for a warmongerer in office, and that includes Mr. Nobel Peace Prize Hypocrite Obama!

28. What do you say?
I'm drawing a blank.

The Democrats are now the republicans of old and no one knows quite what the pugs are.

Maybe this is just a sign of getting old. Soon we'll all be dead and there will be no one left that remembers the Democratic Party once stood for something.
