(updated for clarity)

I posted this in a LBN thread (not the OP), but thought I should let it sit over here.
It would be interesting to see if this gets hushed hushed locally. I don't "watch" to local news, but I think I will now.

the fact is...these guys are VERY respected. They are a big supporter of the Arts around here.
Charles and his wife have a new freaking theater named after them, that they gave the money for!!
These guys have given money to everything, so to speak.

These guys have given money to charities all over town and I'm guessing (assuming) probably the world.

I'd be interested to see if any of the organizations that have received money give it back or act like nothing is happening.

WSJ article on Fraud (By the way they are big Bush supporters)

search for Wyly on each page...wouldn't take much to do your own search for more...but here's a few that I knew of on my own...

I don't "know" them. I don't remember meeting Sam.
But I've met Charles many times. "Hi, nice to see you again," and shake his hand. That's about all I know of him, personally.
However, I do have friends that know him well. I think I should make a few calls. This could get interesting.

3. I'll be back in Dallas on Monday. I'll see what's in the papers.
Edited on Fri Jul-30-10 10:21 AM by DFW
I just came up here to Washington to see my brother and his family, and have lunch with a couple of friends yesterday.

If there is any kind of big headline in the Dallas Morning News, I'll see it (asking my friends down there to save the
papers starting today).

5. You forget...they are republicans and nothing much will happen
to them in the great old skunk state of Texas politics. Look at Delay still no trial.

8. Tip of the Iceberg
UTIMCO Watch provides an excellent overview.

Thank you for the heads-up, MrsBrady. Perhaps there is a real chance for returning the nation to justice.

PS: Careful how you call. Thanks to NSA, they keep track of such things like "who knows what about whom?"

9. K&R for this over here, too.
It looks like another opportunity for this administration to show it's true agenda.
