The Case for a Strong Manufacturing Base; C. Hayes, R Maddow Show
In case you missed the R. Maddow Show last evening,
it might be owrth going there and reviewing Transcript.

The reason I say this is our MSM is not big on covering
Economic Issues, esp. Trade Issues. Also if they
do cover them, they leave the impression that Europe
is this old creaky economy going to hell in a handbasket.
After all social democracies simply cannot flourish.(sarcasm)

To the point, Hayes had a most interesting author on who
explained that all countries have been hit by the recent
financial collapse--it is Germany who is doing the best
in these economic times.
Regarding Trade Policy: Germany very carefully managed
their policies. DID Not Permit WHOLESALE Outsourcing from
their country. Instead built a strong manufacturing base.
Permit Union Members to sit on the Boards of Companies.
In fact, permit High School Graduate to sit on Boards of
Businesses. Why? To put emphasis on having high quality
goods and Germany be synonomous. As a result in these hard
times Germany is up there giving China a run for their
money. Combining French and German Exports and they exceed
China.

Yes, Unions and all Germany is fairing well.

Think about our trade deficit and our economy.

When certain Congressmen call for an Industrial
policy for U.S.A., we whould stand with them.
