Hartmann: "Show your papers" might be money-making scheme
He just had on sheriff of Yuma (??) county AZ. It was mentioned that the prison profiteers lobbied hard for the recent law, hoping to cash in on Sheriff Joe's round-ups. First I've heard of this. The sheriff on w/ Thom says law's monumentally stupid.

over the weekend, iirc, that Brewer has an interest in the prison industry.

10. Hours 2 & 3 are aired on Freespeech teevee

11. Dear god, a civilized nation would NOT have a private prison system
Instead of some totalitarian government putting political prisoners in jail, we instead have a system where the whole motive is a weirdly detached profit motive.

The largest prison population in the world.
