I think it's good that Stone realizes some of his remarks were pretty stupid.

HOWEVER...

Scientologists are being 'persecuted" in Germany like the Jews were? :wtf:


Director Oliver Stone has been forced to make a grovelling apology over an anti-Semitic outburst.

The double Academy Award winner claimed that the Russians suffered more during the Second World War and that there was a Jewish 'domination of the media'.

Stone also said that Jews had '****ed up' U.S. foreign policy for years and suggested the British supported Hitler.

'Jews obviously do not control media or any other industry,' he said, adding that the Holocaust was an 'atrocity'.

Stone has courted controversy before. In January he sparked fury when he said Hitler was an 'easy scapegoat'.
He was among 34 celebrities who in 1997 compared treatment of those who follow Scientology in Germany with persecution by the Nazis in the 1930s.

2. Factually he was not wrong...far more Russians died in WWII than did Jews in the camps..

..Members of the British aristocracy WERE supportive of Hitler, the Israeli lobby has severely fucked up U.S. foreign policy when it comes to the M.E. and I don't know that he's a million miles from being accurate at least at the influence of the jews in the media (especially Hollywood), banking, or finance...

The way he said it made him sound like an asshole, but with Olly Stone the brain doesn't always synch-up with the mouth..

The Scientology thing? That's the one thing the Germans are bang on target with...that cult needs to be exposed for what it is and then banished permanently from existence..

..I simply used the less 'inflammatory' word than Stone..After all is the Israeli lobby not comprised largely of Jews?

I think that if he had worded it differently there would be potnetially less outrage than saying "The Jews" which has all sorts of connotations.

I think that if we had told Israel and it's leaders that they were on their own if they kept up their murderous campaign against un-armed/under-equipped Palestinians U.S. foregin policy would be far less convoluted than it is today in that region.
