My experience on the highway today (Tea Party driver)

I was driving from Nashville to Pittsburgh today. As I was going through Kentucky on I-65, I was stuck behind a car going about 55 in the left lane (the speed limit was 65). There was a wall of trucks in the right lane, so I was boxed in.

The car had two "McCain/Palin" bumper stickers. It also had a pro-life sticker. I flashed my lights. Nothing. I beeped my horn. This made the guy speed up to the speed limit (65) and then he finally was able to move to the right lane.

As I passed him, he saw by "Obama '08" sticker.

He then sped up to pass me.... cut me off... then slowed down under 60 MPH again.

I pulled off at the next exit to have a bite to eat and calm down rather than play chicken with him on the interstate.

These people are mentally unstable. Not just politically different than us. MENTALLY UNSTABLE.

ps. Paul McCartney's show in Nashville last night was outstanding!

3. Simply put, they are living a life based on a "fantasy paradigm".
The basic values are not based upon any form of objective wisdom. In the long run, the Tea Party movement is doomed. However, in the short run, they are likely to do some serious damage to all the rest of us.

4. Glad you made it safely to the McCartney show.
And I'm glad you took a break rather that risk driving near the scary TPer. It's dangerous enough on the roads without that sort of company...

5. Their leaders teach them to be mean because their policies are mean. More money for rich people.
