Republicans Less Positive Toward Supreme Court
Republicans Less Positive Toward Supreme Court
Public Views of Congress Recover Slightly
July 9, 2010

Republicans' opinions of the Supreme Court have become less favorable during the Obama administration. As a result, more Democrats than Republicans now express a positive opinion of the Supreme Court -- the first time this has occurred since the Clinton administration.

1. Less positive? What spin is this?
When have they ever had a good thing to say about the courts?

6. I would remind you that Lincoln was a Republican, and no friend of the Taney court
Of course, the present incarnation of the GOP is another matter entirely.

3. Lies, Damned lies, and statistics.
We have the most conservative Supreme Court since FDR took office with little chance the balance will change, even with a second term. A Democratic President electing in 2016, may have a chance to change the balance.

4. Even when they're winning they're STILL not satisified
Edited on Mon Jul-26-10 06:19 PM by ShadowLiberal
How many more radical right wingers do they want on the court?

They even have freaking Kennedy voting with in the minority in 5-4 votes as often as the rest of the conservative judges, so how can you call him a swing vote moderate anymore this term?
