So, does anyone know who is funding Breitbart?
Where does he get $100K to offer as reward money?

I can track some of his friends to the Heritage Foundation but, what about him?

Anyone have a clue?

a complete archive. He'd never pay.

Phone bill, web hosting bill, payment for all those edited videos. Who funds this POS?

25. Rove sent his clerks to strip all the reference to Bush and his
AWOL stint from the Air Force Guard. I suppose Breit the bum has already pulled anything in NARA and any other records as regards this. So he knows he won't have to pay. And you can bet your last penny, Fox is mixed up in it someplace.

28. Fox seems to me to be a different unit.
It's as if there is a cluster of people that work like AB on the net and when they have a package, Fox catches it.

But, you may be right because at bottom, they're not smart enough to hide their tracks all the way. Someone at Faux could be mixed up with the intertubes R&D.

6. from bradblog:
He says it's Scaife Koch

.........

If O'Keefe is paid piece work for each submission then there's no conflict. Other than Breitbart being somewhat less then eloquent or grammatically challenged.

I suspect the latter.

In fact, I suspect Breitbart has no clue regarding O'Keefe's income sources or disbursements. Breitbart is just the conduit for one of many "conservative" disinformation campaigns established through Koch/Scaife et al funding channels and Breitbart simply does what he's told to do as the public face of one of those channels.

There's only one person I can think of who's savvy enough to unravel the multi-layered, intentionally deceptive funding stream and capable of exposing the truth behind the money.

Greg Palast.

9. I've long suspected Scaife
because the Arkansas Project didn't just pack up and go away once Clinton's terms were over. Those "elves" were too valuable to cut loose completely, they might have gone to work for the opposition if they got hungry.

My guess is that Scaife is one of his sugar daddies. I'm sure there are others and the Koch brothers have their tentacles into enough that they're probably in there, too.

19. I always look to Scaife first
I haven't done it recently, but it is possible to look at the fundings of the various Scaife family foundations to see just how much money they have poured into the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy to distort the American conversation.

23. Here's an interview by Hugh Hewitt with AB that seems set up to deny
his association with O'Keefe. The same interview ridicules the Scaife connection.

At least they have their denials straight!

17. He also offered 100k for any video showing teabaggers spitting on black congressmen
He brags that nobody came forward, but do you actually think he would come forward with that information? Hell no he wouldn't, he would destroy the videos and lie about it. I would like to see any news person or pundit ask him, 'So, how much did that 100k video offer set you back? A million or two?"

lol

Koch Bros., Scaife, good candidates but there's no footprint except the way Breitbart goes about things -- ie, pretending to have a good purpose and being rotten to the core. I've got to go search Dick Armey. He's up to his eyebrows in the tea klan astroturf. Maybe Breitbart is doing this on commission for him?

Breitbart's whois for his sites are "private". Now, if you were paying for your own site, why would you hide that?

31. When I did research on Jeff Gannon
I became aware of how interconnected all these right wing groups are. They feed each other from the old school junk mailers like Bruce Eberle to the moneybags like Scaife, Koch and Morton Blackwell and assorted wingnut billionaires and right through to the think tanks, "student organizations", "grass roots" astroturfers, all the way to the righty bloggers, pundits and noisemakers, right up to the elected and law enforcement officials.

I'm not kidding when I talk about their incestuousness.

And this, fyi, is Mike Roman's fundraising image. Subtle!

45. Asked a similar question recently,
Peter Thiel was the name I came up with in terms of who funded the ACORN smear. I didn't get much further than that, I concur with the poster who contends Greg Palast is the kind of guy who'd get answers. Brad Friedman has also been known for looking into this kind of thing.

I was sickened by the recent appearance of these muck rolling chumps on Good Morning America, claiming they speak truth to power while it's power that funds what they do. Andy B is an immature 13 year old trapped in a man's body. Have you seen the Youtube video of him in Nevada? Throws an egg at a tea party bus from a crowd of Reid supporters and blames them? Uggity!
