It's well-known that the media creates serious body image issues, pressuring millions of girls and women to squeeze into inappropriately tight physical outfits. However, as serious as media-created body-image issues are, is it possible that the media are now creating even more serious mind-image issues for millions of Americans?

Television displays large numbers of African-American conservatives. Could these displays create problems of political philosophy self-image for African-Americans?

Are millions of African-Americans in quiet desperation trying to squeeze into mindsets (or mind-suits) of shining conservative armor?
