1. Indeed, but at times I wonder
if this is on purpose.

3. They were EXTREMELY GOOD
during the campaign, and now they cannot find their way out of a wet paper bag? Something just don't feel right.

4. So Dems deliberately do themselves in?
'Since taking office 18 months ago, Obama has pushed through Congress an $862 billion economic stimulus plan, bailed out banks and auto companies, and overhauled the U.S. healthcare system and financial regulations.

"Here's the problem -- we've been working so hard to get these major new building blocks laid down," Biden said. "They are so big, so heavy, that the American people don't understand what's in it for them yet."

"Now that the hard lifting is done, we're going to spend the next 90 days going out explaining to people exactly what it means to them," Biden said.'

5. Ask the average person on the street
what has DC done? Dime on the dollar they will know about that commie plan called Health Care (since people were manipulated), and the number of people that don't will surprise you.

Ask people about other things... well the TARP program was a Democratic ideal, don't you know?

Here is the problem, when you let the propaganda get a foothold, and then you try to counter it... people get that much more entrenched. So yes, this is a self inflicted wound. Now whether this is on purpose, lack of understanding of basic marketing, or human psychology is another question. But it is a self inflicted wound.

6. Dems have never learned that if you don't control the message,
the message will control you.

8. There was a time they did
Depression, FDR... Truman... even Kennedy and LBJ.

But in the modern period... it's like a lost art.

While the GOP has become VERY GOOD at it.

7. Agree with all, and my question to you was do you think they do it on purpose.

11. But Axelrod was
And I got to say it, Rahm hasn't been a PR demon, when convenient, or has been when convenient.

12. Why can't this administration get their message out there?
It's like they are not even trying. What are they afraid of? Everyone of them - Axelrod, Rahm, Gibbs should be out talking and selling their message in a coordinated effort. It shouldn't have to always come from Obama.

I am so glad Rachel is talking about this. I have heard Chris Matthews talk about it too.
