RW radio host thinks Sherrod is lying about her father

mouth-breather Mike Gallagher had Fox News's Chris Wallace on his show this morning, asked Wallace if any reporter has looked into whether her father's death happened the way she describes it. Wallace to his credit said the obvious, that we can assume she's telling the truth about that.

But in reality, of course there are plenty of people looking into exactly what Gallagher is talking about. It's such an obvious first step, it's so obviously something they would love to nail her on. In fact, the case is no doubt unusually well documented and beyond question. If there were any ambiguity about it at all, they'd be casting doubt on it.

Yes, lying about something as serious as murder is something Republicans would do without hesitation and without a qualm, if it helped them win a news cycle. Other people, who aren't reality-challenged sociopaths, would never do such a thing. Let's try to figure out which side of the mental health line Mike Gallagher spends his existence.

tried once again, by using the old tactic 'I'm just wondering' to smear someone.

It seems CNN actually did look into it and provided some of the details of the case.

Giving lip service to waiting for the facts while tossing out lies is not the same as looking for the facts first before opening your mouth and attacking someone knowing full well that many people will only hear the question.

He should be vilified for not taking the time, about two minutes, to first check out the facts. And he should be told that people are not fooled by his pretense of 'just wondering'.
