Today show host Matt Lauer had a segment on Katrina Van Heuvel and Harold Ford Jr. on their views of the Sherrod debacle.

As soon as Van Heuvel said the Sherrod affair is another case of the RW media and their relentless attacks on Obama and liberals, Lauer cuts her off and talks over her and proclaims that they do it on the other side, too.

I wish Van Heuvel would have just asked Lauer to name an example. Even if he could, Van Heuvel could name dozens of RW smearing for every one the liberals may do. And the RW smearing is baseless and more vicious.

Used to have it on as background for weather and keeping track of the time while I dressed for work. Now I find classical music CDs a much better way to start the day.
