2. I like what O'Donnel said tonight.
Her father was murdered. She went to segregated schools. And Breitbart thinks there is a moral equivalence between that and somebody saying something that makes him feel comfortable.

3. He's typical of those of his ideology
Completely incapable of envisioning life from anything but his personal experience.

I would pity him, but he's done way to much damage for that.

17. "Completely incapable of envisioning life from anything but his personal experience."
Sadly, that is very common of people on both sides of the aisle.

Look at some of the threads here on nutrition, for example, and look at the blaming of poor people. They simply cannot GET IT.

:(

"And so it goes....."

4. And yet, even here, we've seen some denying white privilege
The Sherrod story, positive and inspiring in itself, has the potential to create understanding and to do a lot more good.

5. SMEARHART should be Sued, tried, and found guilty, sent to jail
Is this what the Republican Party has come to??

His pattern is so revealing he will lose his ass should litigation proceed.

She has indicated of seriesly considering sueing.
I wish she does...

7. "Oh he didn't go after the NAACP. He came after ME."
So Mr. Breitbart, how do you prefer your ass be handed to you? Because I think Ms. Sherrod is about to go all Ginsu Knife on it.

11. Don't you think as his EMPLOYER Fox should also be
held accountable. After all when a lot of people sue they include employers who allow this crap to happen. ROGER AILES should be mentioned accordingly.

14. Plausible Deniability...
Faux will escape any blame as they'll simply claim (which they already are), that they were just reporting what was put out on a website...they didn't originate the story, only "reported" on it. Slimebart's escape hatch is that supposedly he didn't doctor the video and got it from a third party...which would be fun to see if it could be revealed in court. It's a slippery slope when you play the libel game. While I think Ms. Sherrod has solid grounds, Faux has a cadre of high-priced guns that are sure to find every loophole they can...and the fact that Slimebart made his website public...not a paid Faux employee and he claims he got it from a third party, that's two bodies removed for Faux.

Unfortunately Faux has spun this into a win to their heathen...now playing the victim of a "liberal" media. The corporate media plays it's usual "all sides do it" and "fair and balanced" game by giving this noise more publicity than it deserved and then went right along with the right wing tropes. So many fear being labeled "liberal" even if they question the authenticity or source. It's a sad demonstration of how corrupt our corporate media...not just Faux have become.

12. He's Off To The Next Mark...
A bombthrower doesn't stick around to see them clean up the damage, they move onto the next target. This is Slimebart's modus operendi...he always has a proxy to deflect the blame to and slips into the darkness unti the heat blows over. He's already claiming to be "on vacation"...laying low while the corporate media chases after the next shiny object. He accomplished his mission...got attention, embarassed this administration and Demcrats and is the toast of his right wing coven. In his world and sick mind, he's done good and since the corporate media bought it so easily, they're set up for the next sliming. Stay tuned.

16. I like Shirley!
I had never heard of this woman before this, but from what I've seen of her on numerous talk shows, she is calm, well-informed and seems genuine. I saw her on the view with ole Elizabeth after her, and I think Shirley handled herself very well.

I hope she sues, and that's one jury I'd enjoy sitting on! Course the case won't ever come to trial, but she will, hopefully, get a large settlement.
