Oh my freaking God... are they really going to try the "I'm a victim, too" defense for Breitbart

I like to peruse all of about 7 different "news" sources and make my own opinion from there... I do it all online because some of these announcer/commentators are just obnoxious...

anyways, came across this one on the Fox Hannity show transcripts. How freaking ridiculous can you get. Breitbart was set up? REALLY???

Yes, we've heard that before from politicians telling racist jokes. This is the first time in world history it was literally taken out of context. It was a lovely speech. Of course the White House reacted that way. Of course you reacted the way you did. Anyone would have.

I think Breitbart ought to reveal his source because he was set-up. This was a fraud. The person who sent the edited tape has to know what the full speech said.

HANNITY: By sending that to Breitbart.

COULTER: And whoever sent only that segment to Andrew Breitbart is the one who should apologize to Shirley Sherrod. I think — I think she should — I think to make things right they should offer her the job of vice president. Now I was one who was idiotically taken in by the video I found posted on youtube. Upon realizing it was an edited fake, I manned up and said I was wrong. I cannot believe they are taking this stance with it...

2. Britefart had that tape for weeks. Him or his "operatives" could have easily gotten the full tape

from the NAACP. They aren't exactly stingy with that sort of stuff. Also, he could have done some research into the backstory and maybe spoken to the farmer in question. I mean CNN got in touch with him and had him on Larry King in a matter of hours after this "scandal" broke. It wouldn't have been that hard for Britefart to do.

That kind of fact-checking and accountability for the truth is what separates an Andrew Britefart from a real journalist like Dan Rather or Rachel Maddow or even Larry King. The right wing want to claim that the "MSM" has a liberal agenda, but if Britefart and Rushbo are the BEST they have then they have EARNED their banishment to the fringes of the communication spectrum like the Blogosphere and AM radio.

18. Man, Britefart just dug his own grave here. He basically admits that he knew what he recieved was

excerpts from the tape and that his "source" was in possession of the full tape. His decision to run the excerpts without viewing the full tape is not just unethical, its criminal. Its obvious he didn't care about the real content of the tape and was just trying to smear the NAACP and Sherrod.

Its worth noting that "Joe The Plumber" was exposed and attacked because he was a hack and a fraud as well.

This is not even about "reverse racism" in the NAACP. Its about silencing Black people. 8. Fox is not the only one to blame, althought they definitely should be listed among the

defendants... The guys in the U.S. Agricultural department, and the guys from the NAACP who gave her the boot simply made it easier to think the fake video was credible. The time when we would check sources and talk to the people involved so that an educated decision would be reached.
