Rep Weiner did a good job on Goldline a while back but there has been little coverage other than beck's idiotic attacks on Rep. Weiner. There is finally some news on the Goldline investigative front. Authorities in California said today they have opened an investigation into Goldline International, a company that pioneered the practice of weaving its sales pitches into broadcasts by popular conservative political personalities -- including two former presidential candidates and Fox News host Glenn Beck -- to sell hundreds of millions of dollars worth of gold every year.

This investigation will be fun to watch. beck will go nuts if anyone dares attack his best advertiser

Goldline also claimed the investigation was politically motivated by people who don't like Beck, a charge Radinsky denied. He told ABC, "Glenn Beck has nothing to do with our investigation. Our investigation is about transactions with individual customers and the complaints that they've raised. And politics really has nothing to do with it. It's all about consumer protection for us," he said. Radinsky also said that people with Goldline complaints can now file them at a special website set up by his office

This investigation will be fun to watch. beck went nuts when Rep. Weiner did his report on beck and goldline. I wonder if beck will try the same with ABC?

A House Commerce subcommittee also announced today that it's planning a hearing on Goldline, which "uses aggressive sales tactics and conservative spokespeople such as Fox News' Glenn Beck to sell overpriced gold coins."
