1. Is this how long it would take working for /their/ respective minumum wages?

2. The message of which is -- "American workers, don't even think about . . .
pressing demands for dignity or equitable pay because we know where your replacement is going to come from."

I'd like to see the equivalent graphic, which would plot executive compensation as a percentage of US minimum wage from country to country. You might see exactly the opposite.

Also, apparently, the artist missed the little fact that things are really quite different outside the US -- especially in places like India (not to mention the other BRIC countries of Brazil, Russia, and China) where a huge majority of the population lives in desperate property, and in fact within a day or two of starving to death.

Not exactly a model for policy in the US, I'd say.

7. No and No
Not mine. Why would you assume that?

If I wanted to show graphics, I'd simply link from photobucket, etc. I don't see the point of posting it on a website then linking to it.

But if you feel such a compelling need, the author's name and other information is on the right hand column, at the top, where anyone who was paying attention could see it.

His contact info is provided too.... Feel free to let him know you aren't please with his product.

4. What they fail to mention in this graph is Health Care, College Education and Public Transportation
Edited on Sun Jul-18-10 08:03 AM by fasttense
Even in India they have free health care and free college education. But that is NOT included in the graph above. I bet if you added in these costs (what it would cost to provide in the US) to the salaries of people in other countries you would see a whole different graph.

5. That might be something to drop them an email on....
Chart geeks are all about laying it out visually. I'd like to see those two charts lined up side by side.....

6. Misleading. Some of those people in other countries don't
have to pay from that for their healthcare costs and other items that soften poverty.
