I had an idea for stimulating the economy.
I got while listening to an NPR story on local, unoffical currency in Germany. These local currencies are discounted 2% every month to encourage people to get rid of them.

Suppose the Feds just print some more money. That will introduce some inflation and encourage businesses, banks and consumers who are just sitting on funds to spend it.

Thoughts or comments?

1. Just a thought, but...if it were that easy, I imagine it would have been done by now...
Shit...with a good enough printer, any one of us could do it.
