Chris Moon was Southern Arizona Baseball Athlete of the Year in 2006. He had a scholorship to athe U of AZ to play ball. He instead enlisted in the army. A little over a week ago he lost both legs from a roadside bomb near Kandahar. He was in the hospital in Germany, fighting for his life when I first posted about him. He died.
Edit to correct his age. He was twenty.

4. Arizona and America have lost someone truly special, someone irreplaceable.
As all those who lost their lives for Bush and Cheney's illegal, immoral and unnecessary wars.

9. .
The most inadequate words come to mind at times like these: "Thank you for your service."
