An apology to DU

I made a few posts that made it APPEAR that I was sympathetic to Mel Gibson's point of view. I apologize and should have explained my comments more rigorously.

I opined that Oksana (the victim) took matters into her own hands and deliberately ruined Mel's career INSTEAD of seeking legal recourse.

I was wrong.

She was only doing what she did to protect herself and her child. A perfectly understandable reaction.

Again, my apologies.

That’s no wonder — the voicemails are laced with profanity, racial epithets, and threats. In a 2008 documentary, Acting Class of 1977, he first talked about being diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
