Your "Boss" was not universally loved. In fact, many people in the other 49 states - or at least the ones that have MLB teams - referred to him as "George Satanbrenner". The fact is that he bought those pennants that you wave in everyone else's faces by treating the other MLB teams as the Yankees' farm teams, and picking off the good players so that the Pennant would reside in Yankee Stadium.

My favorite "Homicide" quote: "A dead Yankees fan in Camden Yards. Let me check the Maryland statutes, I'm not sure that's a crime."

My respects for the loss of your beloved owner. But, don't expect me to listen to paens to what a great guy he was.
