I have never watched Glen Beck in my life until today. I flipped past FAUX and saw Michelle Obama so stopped to watch. Next thing I know this Glen Beck fool is actually PREACHING, not just talking or mentioning god/jeeeesusss, he was/is in front of a black board with crosses and empty tombs and a full-fledged sermon on a f__king "NEWS NETWORK". ASTOUNDING.

I have seen Beck mentioned around DU, I had no idea what a slimy screwball he actually is...simply unbelievable..

14. No, that was back in '88

I lived in Arkansas for a bit while my mom was sick. We only had antenna for a while and he was on. I don't even remember seeing a wife. I just thought it was the funniest shit I had ever seen in my life. This old fart sitting around with his cigar, pontificating, showing his horses, and asking for money. What a gig. I don't think I've ever seen him outside of the south.

Downtown Los Angeles... I haven't seen the sign for a while, but then, I haven't looked either.

It really is fascinating! You can't say he ripped people off... he told them straight out that he deserved all the things he bought with their money.

16. When I was in theatre school...

We used to gather after class, eat, drink, and take lessons from Gene Scott in the fine art of commanding stage and audience. It was hard NOT to watch if I was channel surfing and caught a glimpse of him.

His message was pure bullshit, but the delivery was brilliant!

His wife not so much, I have only caught her act a few times. No craziness and she doesn't come out and say send me money so I can live the good life. I have to admit I haven't checked if the sign is still up. I also loved how he NEVER showed the crowd. I always pictured scattered homeless people allowed in along with some college students there for a night out. (Sort of like the Wally George group except better behaved - hey the George crowd were the earliest Tea baggers)
