Ipsos poll: Crist leads Rubio by 7 points.. Meek still a distant third.
The new Ipsos/Reuters poll of the Florida Senate race shows that the ex-Republican and now independent Gov. Charlie Crist continues to lead in this always interesting three-way race.

The numbers: Crist 35%, Republican former state House Speaker Marco Rubio 28%, and Democratic Rep. Kendrick Meek 17%. The survey of registered voters has a ±4% margin of error. In the previous Ipsos poll from mid-May, conducted for McClatchy, Crist led by a narrower 30%-27%-15%.

The TPM Poll Average gives Crist 36.6%, Rubio 32.6%, and Meek 14.7%.

This counters the Rasmussen "poll" from a few days ago showing Rubio leading.

1. Let's see...
35 + 28 + 17...I make that 80. So, the Democrat is running behind "undecided?"

2. Yeah, that's alot of undecideds.. I guess not surprising since its a complicated situation..
at least for Democrats. I am sure the vast majority of those undecideds are Dems who are not sure what to do.

3. Looks to me like it could be simplified
If Democrats vote for the Democrat and Republicans split their votes between Rubio and Crist, the Democrat has a damned good chance of winning.

4. That would seem to make sense but even prior to Crist (I) all polls showed Meek trailing Rubio..
by large percentages. I think Meek is simply not a good statewide candidate.
