6. There Was A Guy Like This Who Came To My College Too

And that was about 15 years ago, at a college in Columbus. He was very annoying and yelled offensive things at people as they passed, and he ALWAYS drew a crowd of people who wanted to argue with him. I actually joined in until I figured out that that was EXACTLY what he wanted. When people got the hint that the worst thing you could do to the guy was simply ignore him, he stopped showing up. That's all these guys are is attention whores. They're there HOPING to draw a crowd and to piss people off. Don't reward them.

No, the BEST way to combat people like this is to have young, beautiful women show their breasts. That should be the way ANY annoying person is dealt with. Any problem in life, really. There's not a single problem out there that can't be solved, or at the very least, made significantly better, by seeing a pair of breasts.

8. I think all colleges get someone like this every year or so....

At James Madison University we had Reverend or Brother Jim (it's been a while since my college days) come by during the fall or spring (warm weather period) and entertain the crowds that were kicking back on the hill near the student union and dining halls.

IIRC, there wasn't much confrontation and Jim's "sermons" usually took on a "call and response" type thing.

Jim: And you sinners who dig sex, drugs and...

Crowd: rock and roll!!

Jim: and listen to that heathen band - AC

Crowd: DC!!

Jim: and those perverts Guns...

Crowd: and Roses!!! whooo hooo!!!

etcetera, etcetera, etcetera


The thing was so low-key I was convinced that the University Program Board was responsible for "booking" Jim as annual entertainment for the students.
