Real Debt Relief - End the Bush "Rob for the Rich" Tax 'Cut'

Before worrying about the debt, let's see how much revenue ending the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy brings in. First, let's worry about the unemployed and getting people back to work. The best way to pay off the debt is to generate income - and the best way to generate income is to help people get jobs. Stimulus spending is one step back, two steps forward. The Republican way is one step forward off a cliff into an abyss.

3. The Bush tax cuts do end automatically in 5 months.
Is it really worth the political capital to end them early right before an election?

The bigger question is will Congress extends the Bush tax cuts for the poor/middle class. Or will they get bogged down and fail to get it passed and come 01 JAN 2011 everyone gets hit with tax increase?

4. There is noise now to extend the Bush "Rob for the Rich" cuts
That's what I was referring to. No need to end them now. Just don't extend/make permanent the damn things.
