So, Sharron Angle compares Harry Reid's...
criticism to "hitting a girl" and "attacking a girl". :wtf:

Angle: Reid 'trying to hit the girl'

GOP Senate nominee Sharron Angle claimed that Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) aimed to “hit the girl” in the pair’s competitive race for his Senate seat, using the phrase in two separate interviews on Wednesday.

*snip*

“You know, isolate that Sharron Angle, marginalize her and then demonize her,” she said in a separate appearance on the Heidi Harris Show. “And he has been doing that to me and what we need to do is say, ‘you know Harry, it’s not going to do you any good to hit the girl.’”

*snip*

“Yes, Harry is going after the girl. He is attacking her, but that’s part of politics,” Smith added. “In polite society, you don’t attack the girl. We always wondered what would happen with Harry and his nastiness because some people would get upset if he’s mean to a woman.”

*snip*

Democrats said that Angle’s words were particularly low since they used her gender to score political points. Jan Jones, the Democratic former mayor of Las Vegas, said it’s not fair to claim different standards “because you’re a girl.”

‘Politics is gender neutral. If you’re not strong enough to take a punch, then you shouldn't be out there throwing a punch. All of a sudden, ‘Don’t hit a girl?’ That’s beneath someone who’s trying to be a U.S. Senator,” Jones said. “You have different standards because you’re a girl? And she’s a girl instead of a woman? Actually, I think that’s kind of unconscionable.”

As a woman I'm angry that she said this. We're not little meek creatures incapable of tough fight. She should have thought about that before she entered the race. Not too mention, all the shit that is/was thrown out about Hillary, Pelosi, Boxer etc.

I guess in her mind she can say whatever she wants about Harry and he's supposed to keep quiet?! If you want to go toe to toe with the "big" boys/girls you better have tougher skin than this.

Maybe she ought to go watch some of the Dem. women's campaigns/comments to see how it's done.

1. No shit. While Hillary Clinton might have cried out of fatigue and frustration
she didn't burst into tears because her opponents said mean things about her. She's far tougher than that and we all know it.

Angle is the worst sort of female, the worst sort of Christian, and the worst sort of Republican. She doesn't belong where she is on any level, especially since she's too weak to take a rhetorical slap on the wrist for being a nutcase.

Ladies who hate women are disgusting creatures.

3. "Harry and his nastiness "
Now there are LOTS of words I might use to characterize Senator Reid. Nasty isn't one of them. What kind of an off the charts lunatic do you have to be to see that milqutoast as "nasty"?

5. Apologists for medieval (if not prehisotric) sexism...
...do not get to play the "girl" card.
