yes it is funny that Glenny has not found any tape of Byrd... and of course in his mind... is the the LIBERAL MEDIA, not that we did not record these events way back in the day... so allow me to defend Beck, or rather his generation for a second... with human psychology.

What you are seeing there, is the classic expectation that things have always been the way they are right now. This also affects why people are not protesting or things like that (Yes I know there are protests, but)

Humans expect things to be the way they've always been. Go on, ask an average American, who even knows there is C-SPAN, how long have they done this shtick of showing Congress, or the boring channel? Dime on the dollar that most folks will tell you, forever. Most folks do not realize that Watergate was a watershed moment in US History well because it was on your TEEVEE. There is footage of McCarthy, but there is more radio of that. Watergate was the first time this came to your TEEVEE regularly...

So while it is funny to think Glenny is an ignorant boob... and he is... this accidentally gave you and me a window into patterns... and if any of us want to change things, we all need to realize things do change. Oh and Watergate today... it's on C-SPAN or the Nooze and a lot of useless prattle.
