who sues an adult claiming to be their parent? Sounds like the guy is a reverse gold digging parent-wanna be

Washington (CNN) -- A Washington lawyer has filed a lawsuit in federal court, claiming he is the father of basketball star LeBron James.

Leicester Stovell alleges that the athlete and his family have been involved in a cover-up to deny paternity by committing fraud and misrepresentation.

In the complaint, filed June 23, Stovell says, "I recently have concluded that a comprehensive, sophisticated and well-funded effort might well have been underway for quite some time, perhaps beginning in its present form as early as when defendant LeBron James was in high school, to frustrate identification of his real father, and that there is a likelihood that the father in question is me."

---------------

Stovell says he has been trying for three years to establish paternity, and asks for unspecified millions of dollars in damages.

2. Yet where was he when the kid needed a father.
Out of the woodwork and looking for a payout.

I remain open to correction, but on the face of this, it seems WAY too opportunistic given the timing.

7. A lawyer who represents himself has a fool for a client.
This reminds me of that DC judge who badgered the hell out of a Vietnamese couple who ran a dry cleaners. They lost a pair of his pants. The judge kept trying to get a million bucks for his loss.
