1. they are letting bp get away with it, they are complicit--and I doubt anything will be done.
it is clear that bp pretty much has free rein to lie, cover up, evade and destroy at will, with the help and collusion of the US govt.

2. Yes
I can not figure out why we are letting the criminal
work within the crime scene. Some would say that bp is the only one with the equipment and the know-how
then put guards on all bp personal to watch their every move.

3. maybe 5000 ft. down
but there are plenty of people experienced in clean up.
BP should be under the strict control of some other authority.

heads of the major oil companies admitted they have no clue what to do in a situation like this. assuming there were any knowhow, somebody had to teach them--we do have scientists, professors, etc., who DON'T work for bp. It makes me want to scream in frustration when I hear that nonsense.

when doug suttles said that the reason there were no new techniques for cleaning up such a disaster was because "there haven't been enough spills to advance the technology", I was fervently hoping the reporter would just shove him out of the helicopter in sheer horror.

6. Yeah, sure they're complicit.
Just like Obama is complicit in the crimes of Bushco. He's covering them up, all under the pretense of "moving forward."

Anyone who knows anything about history knows that's a bunch of crap, and by moving forward Obama is just kicking the can down the road, waiting for someone even worse than Bush to come along.

Thanks for all the change, Obama. :(

9. Well, the US of A covered up so many deaths and murders of
human beings...why would you think animals would be anything more then a trivial thought to a Senator or SCOTUS member? They all have beautiful mansions overlooking gorgeous views of nature. Ruling elite think - poor people don't deserve nature...they should have to pay for it (like go to Seaworld and spend some payola!).

11. Well they'll probably have a thorough investigation of it.
If the police gave someone with infinite resources a few months head start on a murder investigation, it'd be awfully fucking hard to convict them. You know, just sayin'.
