1. this just proves Satch had help.
He is one of the Greats but even he had to get hired. I think the man himself was probably humbled because he knew he got all the credit.

Isn't that the essence of jazz?
"I get by with a little help from my friends". My parents came of age in the depression. Mom used to tell me the stories of her and Dad going to night clubs and hearing all of the greats. For so many reasons I wish that I could call her back from the grave, there is so much that I failed to ask her.

I have lived many years on dial-up, and will probably be back to dial-up within the next year.

Sweet Jesus, I love me some Louie Armstrong. I'm not big on modern jazz, but the essence of American music, to me, came from New Orleans, when the blues met horns. Damn.
