Bush today: "We can debate Iraq & should, but no debate on getting money to OUR KIDS!"
"We can debate Iraq -- and should. There should be no debate about making sure that money gets there on a timely basis so our kids can do the job we've asked them to do."

1. HIS kids aren't over there.
They can be found almost any night hanging out at a local bar, drinking and acting like the swine they are.

11. Typical chickenhawk republicon: happy to send OUR kids to Nation Building
and War PROFITEERING overseas in Iraq.

But would Commander AWOL and the corrupt cabal of republicon cronies ever serve America? Hell no. They just want to flap their gums, and collect their profits...

2. As my mom would say: "What's this OUR shit?"
I sincerely doubt that anyone in Shrubya's social circle has a "kid" over there unless it's some 22-year-old who got a job working for the provisional government because they were registered on the Heritage Foundation site or another trust-fund brat working for Halliburton.

4. It's not as if
the Admin Gunny is going to tell the grunts, sorry you're not getting paid this month because the Bush vetoed the spending bill.

This supplemental spending is going to military contractors with billion dollar defense bills. This is graft money going to the MIC.

This debate needs to be placed in the proper context. Quit funding the Imperial War Machine.

5. A lot of those "kids" are in their thirties, forties, fifties.
Stop trying to act like a daddy, Little Boots. We all know you're Jack in "The Shining."

8. WE didn't ask them to do a thing.
Edited on Fri May-11-07 05:23 AM by SalmonChantedEvening
YOU did.

WE would prefer that they were still at home with those they love.

Still Alive

Still Unscarred

Still Not Haunted By What They've Seen And Done

Damn this putrid little narcissistic pig to the worst hells there might be.

10. If they're our kids, shouldn't we be protecting them instead of
vice versa.

* is such a moran.

12. Wow! Did the Bush Twins join the Marines or something? I must have missed it.
I think it's an excellent idea both from a political point of view and as a way of introducing those rather wayward young ladies to a life of discipline and purpose. It would be difficult given the Bush family's apparent deficit in the parenting skills department but I'm sure our Marine drill sergeants are up to the challenge.

Of course you might say that our troops have enough trouble in Iraq without two spoiled rich kids with apparent substance abuse problems joining their ranks but I say give the Bush twins a chance to be all they can be.
