'Breadcrumbs' lead to White House
Don't have an official quote just yet but this is the jist of what Representative John Conyers just said to Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. After a day of hearings, Conyers told the AG that 1) His committee's investigation isn't over. 2) He is dissappointed in Gonzales testimony. 3) The committee still doesn't know who put those fired USAs on the list. 3) The breadcrumbs appear to lead to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Awesome. My dream is that those words (Breadcrumbs Lead to White House) make the headlines.

3. The attorneys do serve at the pleasure of the President.
But they don't serve at the pleasure on individual Senators. You can't have it both ways Gonzo. Admit that the list of USAs to be fired came from the WH or admit that you acted on partisan influence. Just stop lying that the USAs were fired for performance reasons.

5. He can't because the president's pleasures don't include obstructing justice
And if Justice is concerned about the appearance of favor, they should be mortified by the pattern Fredo has created.

6. I don't get CSPAN3. If anyone has a link, even to only Mr. Conyers'
remarks, please post it!

Go, Dems!
