Is Rove Skull & Bones?
I know Bush is, and Gonzo sounds like a rushing plebe, "We all work for the White House," but I was wondering if Rove was indoctrinated into that world of bondage, er bonding.

I don't think so. I think I've heard he never got a degree either.
I look at him as I look at Limpballs. Neither have a degree, both are monitarily successful, but it was all obtained via BS!

5. Rove didn't graduate college, and it wasn't at any fancy shmancy place
where he "made his bones" in the Young Republican Movement under the tutelage of Lee Atwater, working for Nixon. He doesn't have that much class. he's just a grubby nobody from nowhere with a lot of ambition and no moral compass.

7. No, he's a fucking college DROPOUT.
He went to U of Utah, and dropped out to run the (cue the IRONY orchestra) COLLEGE REPUBLICANS.

Gonzo went to Rice in Houston, and Haaaavid Law (which doesn't say much for them, really, does it?).

25. name that tune (old string)
cruising thru the net brought me to an email string of yours from last November. Just in case you haven't found the origin of the second set of lyrics, the song is "Marin County Line" by New Riders of the Purple Sage. (I was googling to try to find full lyrics for my mother). Happy Friday

27. He's just a bag man...
...awarded a reputation for genius merely for being unscrupulous. He is not one of them, but he is very, very useful, and because he knows too much, they will keep him safe for as long as they possibly can.

I can't imagine their ever letting him testify under oath...but I guess he'd just lie as long as there appeared to be a way he could save his own skin.
