Are there ANY former US attorneys who were elected to the house?
I've been listening to the House Judiciary Committee hearing with Gonzo, and after several hours, it struck me that all of the GREAT questioners were ex USA's and they were all Dems!

I'm just curious if any Pub USA's ever seek higher office, and did any succeed?

1. Are you kidding me?
Go to public service for pittance wages? Of course not. They go directly to the corporations that they served best while serving as USA.

4. That's a scummy, contemptible thing to say.
Utterly vile. Considering we have 9 REPUBLICANS fired for doing honest work, your remark is really worthless.

Or are the party of higher ethics now?

8. That wasn't a qualified statement, first.
Second, it was contemptible even if it was.

What is appalling is that you don't seem to know why.

9. Oh spare me
Do you even pay attention to what is happening? You are aware of one of the fired USA's taking a private position with a former defendant for $1 million--aren't you?
Perhaps that is what I was referencing?
Be appalled somewhere else. Your "concern" is actually pretty contemptible.
Have a nice fucking day.

5. Yes, and Schiff is a Dem...I think. He's actually the reason I asked
the question. He did a spectacular job at interrogating Gonzo, as did the other two FORMER USA'S on the panel, but they were Dems too! The difference between an attorney and a former USA was quite consipcuous to me today. They all did a GREAT job! The Pubs did a lot of BS today, and none were introduced as former USA's. That struck me odd, so I asked if there were any really stron leaning Pub USA's ever go into public service.
