in the SC Low Country, and my house is between 2 fault lines(lucky me!), but I haven't felt anything here. This is the most active fault east of the Mississippi.

Not a good sign anywhere , but NY is not supposed to have earthquakes? ( Full moon Lunar Eclipse this Sat.. extra strong tides for coastal areas.)

Edited on Wed Jun-23-10 02:43 PM by JuniperLea
I can't remember the name of it, but there was a plastic bottle... you unscrewed the lid and there was a place to put the doobie at the end of a tube through the lid... you screwed the lid back on, emptied your lungs, held the lid to your mouth, squeezed the bottle and sucked it in!

Super something... power whatever... it was amazing:) Like a solo shotgun!

Whoa! I found it!

I googled 'onward through the fog'... that was the only thing I could remember... I wonder why?

67. Hi - Cincy here too
From WCPO:

Did you feel the ground rumble or your building shake on Wednesday?

The U.S. Geological Survey says a 5.5 magnitude earthquake hit the Ontario-Quebec border region of Canada around 1:41 p.m. The USGS said the quake occurred at a depth of about 12 miles.

The powerful earthquake hundreds of miles away rattled Ohio, with the sound of plaster cracking in Cleveland and buildings in Cincinnati gently swaying.

Several dozen people called 9 News after feeling a rumble or their building shake shortly after. A Procter and Gamble employee in Downtown Cincinnati says the east tower was shaking for approximately 20-30 seconds.

There were no immediate reports of damage.

Around 200 people were exposed to extreme shaking...How would that be possible in a 5.5 quake?

55. Oh yeah...
I keep thinking about the worse than worse case scenario (we are already experiencing the worst case scenario). The worser (sic) one would be for the oil dome to collapse resulting in a tsunami/earthquake creating a super oil volcano instead of the regular old oil volcano we are currently enjoying. :(
