1. they took the containment cap off. it's now free flowing into the Gulf

2. Stupid question..why?
..if the relief wells are nowhere close to being finished what would releasing MORE oil do other then kill the gulf more quickly?

3. If they lose the wellhead, the relief wells' chances of working go down significantly.
the wellhead is key.
