This article is so short, I can't excerpt it without losing the meaning. But basically, a group of free thinkers in North Carolina are putting up billboards arounds the state that say "One nation indivisible", superimposed on an American flag. It's a simple idea that seems to have generated a bit of controversy.

Personally, I like this message. As an atheist, I'm not under any god. Moreover, the original pledge of allegiance did not have the phrase "under God", it was added simply to exclude people. And that, to me, is the opposite of what America is about.
