Scouts: Philly's priorities off in gay-rights case

A lawyer for the Boy Scouts of America says the city of Philadelphia "has its priorities totally out of whack."

Closing arguments are under way in a trial over the Boy Scouts' ban on gays.

The city wants to evict the local scout council from a city-owned building or make them pay rent unless they renounce the national Boy Scout policy banning gays.

The scouts say they can legally limit their membership. And they say the city has more urgent priorities, from juvenile crime to high dropout rates.
