1. he should be fired. As a military brat and wife I know that

members of the service are not allowed to involve themselves in the political aspect of their work. they are not even allowed to express an opinion except if asked by the president in private. I know even military brats know that they are supposed to keep their mouths shut. I have seen incidents when a wife or child has expressed an opinion it has been the service member who got in trouble and letters sent to dependents. Godd!! this man should know better. Fire him!!!! don't allow him to resign!!

3. I was good friends with a "Navy brat" (she wasn't a brat though) and

before we would go anywhere, her dad, a high ranking naval officer would give us the do's and don'ts. We were on base, and we did not stray for a second on the rules. That's what they're made for.

2. Don't know what to believe

I hear he "IS" resigning in one post according to CNN, then I just now hear, on CNN, that he needs to convince the president tomorrow that he can do his job and keep his mouth shut from now on! So I don't know what the heck is going on, but in my view the man needs to go one way or another. If he offers his resignation, the president should take it, if he doesn't then he should be fired! No matter what the mans reason for his comments they should never have been made, and as far as I am concerned he does NOT deserve another chance.
