MSM and talking head rallying around McChrystal
On NPR and other outlets, I am hearing the same meme: As unfortunate as his remarks are, he's too valuable to replace. And the press and said talking heads will turn Obama into the bad guy if he has the cajones to fire his ass.

6. Spot on!
Obama could cure cancer, invent a vehicle that runs on pollution, give every American a brand new car and home of their choice, and create the largest financial surplus in US history, and they will find something wrong with all of it.

8. Yep, I am sure he wouldn't have shown enough emotion, too much emotion....
too much arrogance, too much wimpiness, you know the drill, lol.

They have become the pendulum by which to judge the public response to the issues, if the pundits don't like it, it is very good odds the public does!

2. Too valuable?
That's bullshit. There are plenty of generals out there. This isn't like McChrystal is the Barry Bonds of the military. Good grief.

11. Obama should order this bozo to Midway so he can fly there and fire him.
Boy, wouldn't it be nice to once again have a president with the balls (and sense of responsibility to his nation) that old Harry Truman had.
