How are BP gas stations doing around the country?
I just drove by one that had a sign up for a sealed bid auction. I was just wondering, is this a grim sign that they know that there's no way to stop this thing in the gulf?

1. It's the Economy, Or Lack of It
The folks who bought at the top and are undercapitalized are going under. We lost at least 6 stations in Ann Arbor over the last 2 years. People can't afford to drive.

2. Once the spill happened all people of conscience stopped driving their cars
I swear, if I have to swerve around one more cyclist, I'm gonna kill someone.

Oh wait, I haven't noticed any change in my neck of the woods.

Sorry.

3. The ones near me seem to be doing fine.
Their prices are competitive and they have numerous vehicles pumping gas every time I drive by.

5. As one who sails in the Gulf ...I will never buy BP gas ever again.
No forgiveness and no forgetting ...not ever.
