4. AHAAA!

Resolved Question

Does John McCain flip-flop more then a Wafflehouse pancake?
1) First he participates in writing a bi-partisan AMNESTY bill and now he says he never was for amnesty
2) He was for Bush's tax cuts, then against them, and now conveniently he is for them again.
3) Was for the war, then outcried against it, then he says we will be there for 100 years, and now he says we will be done in a couple of months
4) was pro-abortion and now is against it.
5) Is for national security and keeping jobs here, but yet is selling our tank designs to european contractors and further moving jobs abroad.
6) He disapproves of Obama's minister, yet he "warmly embraces" ministers like Hagee and Falwell who have called upon israel to nuke iran, said that the catholic church was the "anti-christ" and that the united states should expell all homosexuals?.

So does he flip-flop more then a wafflehouse pancake?

5. This artist is pretty infamous for painting politicians with
pancakes on their heads and other strange stuff. I think he did one of a buff Obama riding a unicorn too. Hilarious.

7. Perhaps it is a take on this Internet(s) classic:

Or the cute hopping bunny:

Although, McCain is not near as cute as a fluffy bunny.

13. For awhile I been wondering about possible meanings to the pancake.
It could just be a silly thing, but it is used in many places.

So I looked on the net, and found an article about Shrove Tuesday being called Pancake Day, however that could be made up.

Anyone know if Pancakes on the day of Penitence before lent is a real tradition? Never heard of it before.

I also read that pancakes on the head symbolize parachutes.

Anyone else know any possible meanings of the use of those images?

16. I think the bizarreness of the juxtaposition is the point.
Pancakes are warm and comforting kiddie food, John McCain or Sarah Palin are abrasive, harsh and scary. Thus, the pancake has a way of eliciting laughter, even moreso because it's on the head, like a dunce cap.

17. Are the pancakes supposed to be a substitute for a halo?
The artist had something satirical in mind but I haven't figured out what.
